Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Furthur show advice/suggestions, once again !

For you that have been keeping tabs on the band, again I am ready to listen to some more , and would welcome suggestions for what I should get past the 9/16/10 Eugene show that is the latest one I have listened to (!). I have been reading the mostly positive remarks about how they have been progressing .
Thanks to all of you that have helped me keep up to speed on the band, without listening to every show. I have not been disappointed with any of your previous recommendations , ( special thanks to Phlesh Wound) .
So fire away, Furthur round up, for a little short of a year !

An amazing show. It`s Phil`s 71 birthday, and they play half of the Beatles Abbey Road. Good versions of many other songs as well.

Kind regards from Norway.

I've listed to all but 3 or of them. They are getting tighter & tighter, imVho. To me, the list of weaker shows is a much shorter one. I didn't catch a fire from the MSG visit last fall (the show before, however, I really enjoyed. There was one show of the Tower run this past spring that didn't grab my ear.
I last saw them at Broomfield run this year, & you cannot go wrong with these! I like the SBD mixes, so I'd go with them. These *should* be available now/tomorrow (but seem to need to re re-derived.http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=furthur%202011-02-%20sbd%20AND%20collection%3Aetree
I last listened to NYE 2010-11: http://www.archive.org/details/furthur2010-12-31.sbd.official.113059.flac16

Enjoy,
Jack
